Good size for Ninon DX 18-105

This pouch is the perfect size for a Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 18-105mm VR lens. The zippered section for a filter on the bottom is nice, but I don't know that I'll ever use it.

I really like the built-in pouch to hold a set of filters!

Besides this pouch's capability of safely holding one of my largest lenses, I like the filter pouch feature! It can hold a few select IR filters to accommodate whichever lens is chosen.

Does this fit the Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS II with the lens hood attached in reverse? How are the filters protected?

I sold this 70-200 lens (a less hefty non f/2.8 version) way back. I doubt that the heavy f/2.8 would fit friction-free in this when the huge hood (for the f2.8 II) is also attached backward. Hope this help
