Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This is a great gun I have used it for tracking baseballs & softballs. I also have used it for tracking car speeds and it is very accurate and easy to use. It has a good range with smaller objects and excellent range for larger objects like vehicles. It is an excellent radar gun and I would recommend it to someone who is looking for a casual use gun for fun. Also would like to note I personally compared it to a police radar and consistently got matching speeds. Which brings me to the only downfall, if any, to me the LCD is not back lit which would have been nice. additional note: This model operates on the 24.15 GHz (K Band).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not up to par I purchased the Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun to track the pitching speed of my 16 year old grandson who is pitching around 80MPH. My first chance to use the Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun was this past weekend where he was in a tournament at Baylor University and it just happened they had a radar gun setup and posting pitching speed. The Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun never once tracked with the radar gun even though I was right next to it and about 15 yards behind the ump. I tried it a few other games but the Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun just did not work, needless to say I was very disappointed especially after reading all of the positive reviews from other people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a toy! Well constructed and accurate! Sit in your yard and watch when your self rightious neighbors realize that they've been caught speeding and that your not going to put up with it any longer. Help protect your pets, the kids, and the old folks that walk the streets. Gives you the basis to demand more law enforcement get involved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from does the job well and is ACCURATE! No thrown baseballs to monitor, this time of year. However, my 11-year old grandson did a great evaluation for me. I watched him get reliable and accurate readings on birds flying overhead, a low-flying plane landing at our nearby airport, traffic on a busy blvd. (500 ft. away)and traffic in front of the house. He enjoyed seeing drivers slow down quickly to our 25 mph speed limit! I even got steady and repeatable readings on a ceiling fan (11mph on low and 15mph on med.) Your imagination is your only limit with this gun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for its use. I use this unit to measure the speed of the high and low house targets in American skeet. During registered skeet shoots it is difficult to setup the hoop to set target speed and height. We normally can judge the correct height, but speed is difficult to determine during windy conditions. This device makes the task much easier. Three of us have these guns that have been purchased at different times. We compared the three for accuracy. All three measured the same speed for both the high and low house targets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used for speeders through school zone! So were now able to have a reliable device to check the speed of cars/trucks that always need to speed through our school zone at 30-35 and 40MPH! This was a great device to do that with, 3 sec and we have the top speed of the vehicle. Funny how they slow way down when they see the gun in someones hands pointing it at them. This gun is very fast and easy to use, little to no setup to get started. As I said gives the top speed in a variable speed situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bushnell Speed Gun works GREAT for us! We are using the speed gun to evaluate how fast our kids cans serve the ball. It is a great tool for them... and we like to have a competition to see who can serve the fastest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this product! I am a Crossing Guard and a police officer suggested I get one to help me gauge the speed of the cars. Little did I know how effective it would be at slowing down the drivers. I point it in their direction and I watch the speed drop down immediately!
