The Sanken ROCS Rubber O-Rings for CS-1 (10) expand the diameter of the Sanken CS-1 shotgun mic, allowing it to fit inside the larger clamp-style mounts on high-end video cameras. Since the CS-1 is a relatively small shotgun mic, and the size of shotguns and camera clamp mounts are not standardized, the ROCS let you mount your CS-1 and other similarly-sized shotgun mics in most camera clamp-style mic mounts.

Sanken ROCS Reviews
Works with MKE Sennheiser 600 and Canon XA45
The external mic mounting clamp on my XA45 handle was larger in diameter than the MKE Sennheiser 600 mic, so I purchased a bag of rings to slide on the mic to increase its diameter and the fit is now snug. I have 6 of the rings in one group which is equal in width to the width of the Canon external mic clamp.
I would buy this product again
This product is a game changer. I use to use tape on my mic or just use a mic stand. This got in the way if the actor was moving. Now I place three o rings in the mic, slide the Sennheiser 416 mic into the mic holder on the camera, and I'm ready to shoot.
I read somewhere that these would be suitable for my new Sennheiser MKE 600 on the SONY HXR-NX100. When I put them on (all ten of 'em) and attached to the camera, I was very disappointed. They simply don't fit!
Perfect Fit for Sony PXW-Z150 and Rode NTG4+
Solid, easy to use. Works perfectly for my combination.
Solved Microphone Mounting Issue with Sony NX-100
Bought the Sony NX-100 and the Audio Technica 875r shotgun microphone to compliment it. Problem: Once I got my gear, the shotgun mic diameter was too small for the microphone holder of the NX-100. Solution: ROCS Rubber O-Rings. Worked like a charm. Used all 10 to obtain a snug fitting microphone set up.
ROCS Rubber O-Rings for CS-1 (10) Are a Perfect fit
I purchased an XA10 Canon Camcorder and I needed a Microphone that provided great Audio performance. I purchased the Azden XLR Shotgun mic. The problem was the mic's circumference was smaller than the mic mount on my camcorder. I emailed B&H concerning my dilemma and asked them if there was an adapter that could be used to solve my problem. They emailed me back,(quickly I might add)and mentioned the O-Rings. I ordered them and when they arrived, I slid two O-Rings onto my mic and then secured the mic holder. The rings work like a charm. I was pleased the this company had a remedy for my problem, and their solution was right on the money! I also emailed Canon before emailing B&H, and there only remedy was to purchase another microphone. Well, we know what Canon is all about, the almighty dollar...Thank You again B&H.
Needed to be a little thicker for my system.
Works fairly well but needed to be a little thicker for my system.
O-Ring - Perfect Fit
The Canon XA30-35 videocam mic mount was a bit too big for the Rode NGT4. This O-Ring fit like a ring. Yeah. I put three of them on the mic, one for each inside ridge in the camera mount. It's a thing of beauty. If you don't want to spring for these rather expensive rings, wrapping a couple of good rubber/gum bands worked just as well. They just look unprofessional, and they'll break sooner or later. So I got the $2 ea. rings. Vanity, but hey, why not?
