This pad is perfect for my needs. I use it to pad down a sensitive (hot) condenser mics to get levels on the mixer (that do not have a gain/trim pot) at a nominal setting to match most other inputs like hand-held dynamic or wireless mics.

I bought these to attenuate my preamp's XLR signal to my amplifiier for Audyssey calibration because the -12dB trim wasn't enough.� They seem solidly built, neutral, and do exactly what they're supposed to do as the other reviewer said.� I would definitely buy again.
