The Avenger F301 Baby Wall Plate (Chrome-plated) B&H # AVF301 is compatible with this Manfrotto arm as it uses a 5/8 receiver for one of the pins on the arm.

question

How would I set up the Manfrotto 196B2 to clamp onto an art easel and hold a IPad PRO ?
Asked by: Patricia M.
You would need a Super Clamp to clamp itnto the easel, then the arm connects to the clamp. Youll also meet an iPad case that includes a tripod mount, such as the Makayama Movie Mount.

question

Can this hold up the weight of a DSLR camera with macro lens?
Asked by: Jiaxin Z.
I am using this set up to support a small industrial video camera. It is sufficiently rigid for that application. I do not believe it will be satisfactory to support the weight for your application and recommend looking at more substantial support arms.

question

I have a super clamp to mount this to my mobility scooter but it doesn't tell how much weight it will support. I have a D800 with battery grip and I will want it to be able to hold that with my Tamron 150-600?
Asked by: Anonymous
the super clamp will hold it, but the arm joints are a little weaker than I need them to be. I use this for my photo booth with a canon 60D and a 18-55mm lens, it bounces a lot when I barely touch it. I would say spend a little bit more and get one that's a little more heavy duty, especially with a battery grip attached and the heavy lens. good luck to you!

question

A quick question; the product description talks about the item having a 1/4 thread but is it referring to the connection on the bottom of the arm or the top? I want to connect it to a Manfrotto 241FB.
Asked by: Adam J.
One end of this arm has a 1/4 thread, the other end has a 3/8 thread. Since the arm is totally symmetrical it can be mounted on either end to fit the appropriate mount.
