If anything , too versatile. This can be bent in too many ways. I like the simple lock style, you don't have to twist and twist until your arm falls off. Twist 90 and you're done.

Love this thing

Can this be used to mount an AD200 strobe with a 1'x3' strip box? Does it articulate horizontally and vertically?
Asked by: John
If you purchase the Impact 5/8" Stud with 1/4"-20 Female Threads, B&H # IMSRP112P, the Godox S2 Speedlite Bracket for Bowens, B&H # GOS2, and your softbox with a Bowens speedring adapter, and the setup weighs less than 11 lbs, then yes, the Godox AD200Pro TTL Pocket Flash Kit should be compatible for use with the Manfrotto Double Articulated Arm - 3 Sections With Camera Bracket. The articulating arm will only adjust in one plane of motion; either horizontally or vertically, but not both (depending on how the arm is orientated in the clamp/grip head you are using to hold the articulated arm).

Has anyone tried using this on the camera/tripod as a replacement to a boom pole?
Asked by: Dong Soo
This unit works well when clamped to a tripod leg or stand to hold a camera, flash or monitor, etc... But does not replace a boom pole. A boom pole holds much more weight.

Are the Manfrotto articulated arms made in Italy or elsewhere (like China)? Thanks for any information.
Asked by: Gary
The one I purchased here says made in Italy. If you zoom in on the photo here on B&H in the middle of the front arm to the right of the Manfrotto logo you can see it has the model number on the top line and made in Italy in the bottom left portion of the box. Look carefully you can read it.
