question

1. Can you recommend a fabric grid to go with this?. 2 and speedring for profoto.
Asked by: Kit
The Chimera Fabric Grid for 3' OctaPlus - 50 Degree, B&H # CHGF50O3, would be fabric grid compatible for use with the Chimera Octaplus Fixed Light Bank (3'). The Chimera Octaplus Speed Ring for Profoto, B&H # CHSROPF, or the Impact Speed Ring for Profoto, B&H # IMSRPRO, would be compatible for use with Profoto strobe fixtures.

question

There is a discrepancy between the description the 3' octaplus and the hi-heat version of it. The description of the standard version here says that it is compatible with continuous lighting sources up to 1200W. The hi-heat version says you can use a hot light source up to 1000W, as compared to 500W with the standard OctaPlus 3' . This makes no sense, and it is a very important detail so people do not create a fire. Please help me figure this out, thanks. ?
Asked by: noah
I've got a 6' and have never had any overheating issues with a continuous light source.
