Meade Series 5000 Plossl 40mm Wide Angle Eyepiece (2")

Meade's Series 5000 40.0mm Plossl eyepiece has low levels of chromatic aberration and is characterized by the typical sharpness of this eyepiece genre.  However, it now distances itself from the pack in that is part of the first Plossl design which has a wide angle apparent viewing field of 60°.  The legendary Plossl sharpness with a view that wraps around your mind's eye!  The Series 5000 40.0mm Plossl Wide Angle Eyepiece is threaded to accept the Meade 2.00" astronomy filters.
