This seems hard to roll around when the legs are closer together. Is there a trick do maneuvering this thing?
The Avenger Roller Stand 42 with Low Base (Chrome-plated,13.8'), like most similar rolling stands, don't have a very smooth movement--minimizing the amount of rolling necessary is a good idea, but experience makes it easier to use.

Two reviews point to the convenience of having the extra height of this stand so that the lowest extension knob is easy to reach to rotate the set up, which I understand. Don't the wheels of a roller stand make it possible to rotate the entire unit without the need to turn an extension knob? What am I missing? I'm about to purchase my first roller stand.
For finite adjustment, it is advantageous not to have to move the entire stand or to try and reach an elevated fixture
