Before this plate, I would always use a c-stand or a combo stand with a buttplug - NOW I can drill this plate into a pancake put a C-stand stem inside this in order to save space. unbelievable. I tried using AI before, but this actually works. AI will never replace this Avenger F300 Junior Wall Plate.

I bought two of these to mount on pancakes to support my Dana Dolly rail mounts in a low position. They work well for that application and are of pretty good quality. Chroming seems good. However, the bottom plates of both plates were not flat, but warped a bit, from welding I assume. The plates flattened when I attached them to the pancakes with 3/4 #8 screws and that makes we wonder about the material. Time will tell.

Could this be used on a ceiling/beam instead of a wall (lagged in properly of course)? Want to hang some pipe from it via a Big Ben Clamp.
