Constructed of chrome-plated steel, this Impact Wall Plate with 1-1/8" Locking Receiver is a handy accessory on any type of production set. All that's needed is a flat surface for its base and optional nails or screws to mount it to walls, ceilings, or floors. It's often gaffer-taped to apple boxes or the floor to temporarily support lighting equipment at a very low angle. Alternately it can be used as a speaker or monitor platform to be mounted on a stand with a 1-1/8" top stud or any other gear fitted with a male 1-1/8" pin.

The 1-1/8" locking junior pin receiver accommodates any fixture with a standard 1-1/8" stud.
Mounting Options
The wall plate is a space-saving solution in tight places where stands and other supports don't fit. It's also useful as a floor plate for low angle shooting. Eight anchor points are located on the base for extra secure mounting with nails or screws.

Bought this to use as a mic stand mount on my pedalboard. Somehow I managed to cut myself! It was then I realized that it was because the chrome plating was peeling off! Mount seems sturdy but the plating is garbage! Buy something else!

nice product, but base should be larger. a couple of inches all around would make it more stable. all said it's still a good product.

No. This model accepts 1-1/8 inch. You need 5/8 inch version like B&H#IMSRP123P Mfr#SRP-123P.
