Nikon AN-4B reviews

AN-4B Nylon Neck Strap - Black is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the Fujifilm X20 The unassuming, businesslike (read: no glaring corporate logo) AN-4B is a perfect strap for the Fujifilm X20 and other smaller cameras when combined with the OP/TECH USA System Connectors Mini Quick-Disconnect Loops. The combination of AN-4B and OP/TECH loops means there is no metal on or near your camera and no swivels or other metallic hardware to misfunction or scratch the camera. Working internationally, I carry a full-size Nikon DSLR as my daily shooter workhorse but always have the black X20 around my neck or over my shoulder for impromptu street shooting and other grab shots. I couldn't be happier with the combination of strap and camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Understated and functional Soon after buying a new Nikon DSLR, I purchased this strap as a substitute for the flashier yellow and black strap typically supplied. This strap is softer and more flexible than expected and has no scratchy or pinching points. As described, it is all black with the only logos on the plastic lugs with a wide no-slip area on the neck contact points. A note: This strap is significantly shorter than the supplied strap. As a fairly petite person, this is perfect for me but a longer-torsoed person may not like their large rig bouncing at their midriff (btw, this strap has given me no problems carrying my full-frame camera and zoom for hours on end).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Camera Strap There Is - Bar None Nikon's AN-4B has been my only camera strap throughout thirty years of shooting Nikon SLRs. Film into Digital, this strap has consistently provided security for lighter weight to heavyweight Nikon bodies. As a bonus, the AN-4B's nonslip grip side can be turned over on-shoulder to yield a smooth, sliding motion for your camera - very handy when shooting frame after frame.Reviewers have commented on this strap's unobtrusiveness. Indeed the only advertising is the word Nikon in black on plastic. My next Nikon will get another AN-4B from B&H for sure!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Short! Nicely made, narrow strap. But it is only 48 long end to end before you attach your camera. So unless you only want to wear it around your neck and have your camera sit high on your chest, find a differnt strap. Trouble is that most of the narrow straps are also on the short side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A perfect strap This classis black Nikon camera strap is a perfect fit for me. A narrow strap that more closely coforms to the contours of my shouldr repositioning the center of gravity closer to my neck. The narrow profile can easily be wrapped around my hand for a more secure grip on the camera and I am able to color code my various cameras with the different AN straps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite Been using these for 30 years. Came with an FE and I've stuck with it no matter what camera I'm using. Have made plenty of attempts to change but they all get given away or sold with cameras. Soft, folds well, looks discrete, pad has an in between grip. Its not glued to my shoulder and will give when I bring the camera to my eye. I like this but some may find it an issue as the strap does need to be occasionally pushed back on my shoulder. I get about 10 years out of them before the pad gets smooth and slips too much (for me). Another issue is with a heavy body and lens, the strap offers little to no padding. I shoot wide so its not an issue for me. But I do use quick release OpTechs and keep a Wapati strap for those times I shoot with a long lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best strap for the money I shoot weddings and formal events, mostly with a Nikon D300, flash and flash bracket. This strap is comfortable to use and does not get in the way or tangled up when wearing a coat and tie. Plus, no big yellow lettering to call attention to yourself when you're trying to blend in with the crowd. I will never go back to a wide strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite Nikon strap Excellent strap. Durable with good non-slip material. Stays on shoulder. Don't care for the wide straps or those with the camera manufacturer's name plastered all over it. I use these on all of my Nikons; D300, D3100, D70, D50, and P7000.
