An ideal companion for general-purpose glassing on the trail, at the stadium, or around town, the Nikon 10x25 ProStaff ATB Binocular is equipped with space-saving BAK4 reverse-Porro prisms, a multi-coated optical path, and aspherical eyepiece lenses. These features work together to produce clear and crisp high-contrast views with accurate color rendition. Nikon's proprietary Eco-Glass optics are made of environmentally-friendly lenses and prisms that don't contain lead or arsenic. Complementing the image quality, the optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging; and the housing is wrapped in a textured rubber armor that provides a slip-resistant grip — especially in cold or wet weather. Weighing less than 13 ounces and measuring a mere 4.5-inches long, the ProStaff ATB can easily fit in most packs, pockets, or purses without adding excessive bulk to slow you down.

Optical Performance
  • 10x magnification allows for detailed observations of distant subjects
  • 25mm objective lenses help to maintain a slim form-factor while gathering more light than smaller models
  • Reverse Porro prism light path produces a compact housing with a rich depth of field
  • BAK4 prisms deliver a round exit pupil, and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
  • Aspherical eyepiece lenses correct spherical aberration to produce clear and crisp images, with reduced edge distortion and astigmatism
  • Anti-reflection multi-coated optics improve light transmission, clarity, contrast, and color rendition
  • 262-foot field of view at 1000 yards
Use and Handling
  • Large center focusing wheel is easy to manipulate, even when wearing gloves
  • 56-72mm interpupillary adjustment range
  • Twist-up rubber eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyecups
  • Comfortable 15.9mm eye relief helps to reduce eye strain and improve viewing comfort during long glassing sessions
  • 2.5mm exit pupil

10x25 ProStaff ATB Binocular (Black) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good optics fragile eye cups I bought these as a lightweight pair of binos for birding to take on hiking, biking and fishing trips, where the 10x42s are too heavy to carry around. The optics are good value for money, but that's where the good news ends. The adjustable eye cups are very fragile. One small drop and the plastic inside the eye cup cracked, and I stuggled to keep the broken cup on in the right position. Soon after that the other cup went. Eventually I lost one of the cups, and the Nikon agents claim they cannot get spares. I will not buy another pair because of this weakness in design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value! I was introduced to these binoculars by a friend who had the exact pair at an NFL game. My first glance through them (from our nosebleed seats) revealed detail unlike any pair I'd ever owned. So I jumped online the next day and bought a pair. My husband and I are hikers and bikers so we'll use these for recreation. They feel extremely durable, and they're easy to use. The case is a bit cheap and flimsy, but should be fine for our purposes. I can't imagine we'd find any better binoculars for the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Binocular! Easily adjustable for the frame of your face, even for smaller children. Great for birding and one can quickly switch the focus on different distance objects.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nikon is not what it used to be After having a pair of travelite Nikon binoculars for years (they finally accumulated dust on the interior optics)I thought I would get these since they were waterproof. Right out of the box they were not as clear as my old pair. And after a year the prism on one side became out of alignment and I started seeing dual images. *

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I was greatly impressed with the Nikon Prostaff 10x25 binoculars. I've been using the Nikon Monarch's but after a long day in the field I'd feel the weight on my shoulders. I wanted something with Nikon quality but a little bit smaller. The Prostaff 10x25 fits perfectly. It's a lot smaller than I thought and the quality is excellent. I would recommend to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really great ! I bought the 10X25 for hiking in the desert where I disappear every so often to clarify my mind. I wanted compact and light binoculars on a budget with impeccable optics. Surprisingly enough I believe that I found them with the Prostaff I bought. I really like their optics, their light weight and the fact that they are waterproof. I think that all binoculars should be waterproof, it is a minium requirement for me. At 10X25 they are very stable. I do take them everywhere. What else to say, close your eyes and go for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for Only gave four stars as I haven't left for my safari which is why I bought them. However they have very clear optics and was out playing with them in the pouring rain and they are certainly water/fogproof as advertised. They also have the popups on the eye pieces which work well with glasses. I went with these over the Steiner glasses for these features. As a 10X compact they are of course shaky but that comes with the territory. Also the 25 year no fault warranty is pretty hard to beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great binoculars!! I used these today for the first time for a football game and they performed great. These work well with or without glasses and 10 x 25 was no problem for the football game.
