The Slik Monopod 350 is a light-weight general use monopod that is handy when a full tripod cannot be used. Though it cannot stand by itself, it helps support the camera's weight and eliminates undesirable vertical movement (shake) that occurs with hand-held use. Your pictures will be sharper and more clear.

The Slik monopod 350 is great, lightweight but sturdy and easy to adjust. For the quality of this monopod I would have expected a higher price tag. I would definitely buy another one and would highly recommend to a friend.

I used it with ObenBA-113 head and was pretty happy with it. It feels light but solid, is easy to arm and disarm and could be carried in a backpack. The only downside was that with my backpack it was dangerous to others if carried with a head screwed on so I had to unscrew the hard every time after use.

is the foot/base interchangable?
I'd say no. Mine's securely attached. Probably glued in place, which is good. I've done quite a bit of hiking with this monopod and it's held up well.
If the rubber tip wears out I'm sure Slik can supply a replacement, or a well-stocked hardware store would have something suitable.
