I'd say no. Mine's securely attached. Probably glued in place, which is good. I've done quite a bit of hiking with this monopod and it's held up well.
If the rubber tip wears out I'm sure Slik can supply a replacement, or a well-stocked hardware store would have something suitable.

The foot on the Slik Monopod 350 is not designed to come off and does not have a standard or listed thread.

Can the foot locks be tightened? The monopod I have is loose if you lean on it too hard.
The Slik Monopod 350 does not have the option to tighten the latches on it.
