The ProStaff Suspender Harness Binocular Strap from Nikon distributes your binocular's weight across your back and shoulders and keeps it close to your body to prevent swinging around. It is highly recommended when using your binocular during activities where you'll be moving around quite a bit. An added benefit to a suspender harness strap is that you'll be able to hold your binocular steadier thanks to the elasticity, which maintains a bit more tension, lending significant support. It attaches to any binocular, though those with objective lens diameters exceeding 50mm are not recommended.

Pro Staff Suspender Harness Strap is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs Instructions I purchased the harness strap as an accessory to the Nikon Monarch 7 Binoculars. The harness does not come with any instructions regarding how to attach the harness to the binoculars. The harness comes with a packet with four flimsy little tabs but I could not figure out how they were supposed to connect the strap to the binoculars. I tried Nikon customer service: they sent me a new harness strap with the same flimsy tabs but still no instructions. I solved the problem by purchasing Op/Tech USA Adapt-Its which are heavy plastic and worked perfectly to securely attach the harness to the binoculars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable harness but not the easiest I am using the harness for the 2013 version of the Monarch 5 binoculars. The harness does distribute the weight of the binoculars better than the standard neck strap. The harness seems to be well made. The harness does not come with any instructions. This is a problem. My wife is of medium height for a woman, but the best adjustment I can get for her results in the bottom of the binoculars riding at her waist, not mid-chest as the photos show. That is OK but not idea. Adjustment instructions would help. Previous comments questioned the zip ties or metal rings that came with the harness for attachment. Nikon now provies short vinyl strips with two slits. They work, but do not seem all that strong. My final issue is using the eyepiece caps that Nikon provides with the Monarch 5 Binoculars. They are made to slide up and down on the neck strap making it easy to transition from having the eyepieces protected to viewing - a very nice system. With the harness, there is no way to attach the eyepiece covers and have them slide up when viewing through the binoculars. The best I could do is attach them on one side and let them dangle when viewing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! They were cheap, high quality for the price, comfortable, and synthetic. My goal was to find a set without a leather center piece. Personal preference. They are stretchy to provide a ton of comfort and you don't ever feel them on you. I use them with Nikon Monarch ATB 10x42's. Great to free your hands up with photography too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro Staff Suspender Harness Strap Nikon I just return from the mountains in West Virginia where I used my binocular with the Pro Staff Suspender Harbess by Nikon. What a amazing difference from using the regular bino strap all these years, plus the comfortability. No more swingind and swaying around as you walk and climb. They hugged the chest and were very convenient when I want to use the binos. I will not take my binos with me unless I have the harness Strap from Nikon. If you use binos for work or pleasure....TRY THEM. You will not be disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They work These straps need adapters to fit the Monarch X binos. Included with the straps are some wire ties and two metal split rings. The split rings are slightly too thick for the Monarch molded in strap loops, but I was able to make them work. The Suspender Straps are elastic, with plastic clips to connect the binos. Not the most confidence building, but they seem to work okay. Straps are about 3/4 inches wide.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I could take it or leave it. This product works fine for me after I spent quite a bit of time figuring out how to use it. It does not come with any instructions, which is the number one complaint about this product if you read other reviews. The clips on the harness strap are too large to attach to the loops on the binoculars. To accommodate this, the harness comes with 4 leather attachments but they are also large and it was difficult for me to slide them into place. Once I was finally able to get the binoculars onto the harness, I realized that there is no place to attach the eye piece cover, which had been previously attached to the strap. I had to MacGyver my own solution by using a ribbon to tie the eye piece cover to the harness. Now that I have done all of that, it works fine. The downside is that it is not easy to switch back and forth between the harness and the original strap. Once the harness is on, you might as well plan to leave it on for a long time. It's not worth all the hassle to change the strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work like a charm I bought this for my mom to use with her Nikon D700 camera. The camera is a heavy beast, and she can't carry it for very long, the neck strap tires her out real quick. This is the perfect accessory. It's well made, properly adjustable, quality material, and it fulfils the function it was bought for perfectly. I'm happy with the buy, and my mom's ecstatic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for all binocular users I have bought products from B&H before and ... was out in the field a couple days later. When I was using a single strap it created pull on the neck which was most uncomfortable,I am happy to report with this harness all the weight is transferred to the shoulders and back and I hiked all day and didn't even know they were there. Don't hesitate to purchase this item it's something that will make the outdoor experience a most pleasant one.
