Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got this for my A9 with battery back Wow I never spent so much time researching straps, so I hope I can save you some time. I am replacing straps on all my cameras as they are ancient. My old strap was a Domke that I got when I got my Nikon F5 in the late 90s! Time to upgrade. I wanted a 3/8 strap on the low end, just like my old strap, so there is less material to interfere with my work. (Never understood the guitar straps on cameras). I wanted narrow as this was a lighter camera, and after setting it up, PERFECT! I am very happy with this choice for the Sony a9 with battery pack and lenses. Get it. I got a different strap for my a6300. My intense research has paid off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great strap!! I have been looking for a strap to replace the stock one that came with the 7d. After seeing pics of the cps strap online, I knew I had found what I was looking for. And since I'm not in the cps program, I got the next best thing. The op tech utility strap is pretty much the same strap that is included in the cps welcome kit. Only difference is the pro loop attachments which you can buy for a couple of bucks. Anyways it more comfy wearing it on your shoulder than around your neck, but its serviceable either way. Would've given 5 stars, but having to buy the pro loop attachment is -1 in my book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Strap for Pro DSLR's I bought this item to be used with my Nikon D3 for the first time in Paris when i went to a store to buy some photo stuff for the Paris fashion week. This strap has a very strong construction (after 2 years of hard use, it seems like new!). This item has a little level of elasticity that helps you in long sessions as weddings (the Default nikon straps are not elastics). I decided to buy this strap again for my second body, the nikon D800. In the B&H site, this product can't be found if you search DSLR straps it maybe seems to be designed as other product strap, but with DSLR's it works verry nice!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for extended use I work long days, and carry a full-frame camera. With most straps I've tried, even those with nice thick padding, I have trouble with the edges digging into my neck after a while. I don't have that problem with this one, as the edges are neoprene wrapped, and stitched on the wide sides. Unlike some straps that use a narrow nylon strap and buckle to attach to the camera, this has a solid cord that attaches with a Larks Head to the camera, so there's no risk of it slipping free. The only downside- I wish the buckles to detach the strap were closer to the camera, rather than right at the pad. It leaves over a foot of strap dangling from each side of the camera if I detach it. That's the only downside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable This is a great strap. It really reduces the weight of the camera and provides comfort for long days of shooting and carrying the camera. It has a very spongy feel to it and has a great grip to it so it isn't constantly falling off of your shoulder. My only negative is the small, 3/8 straps on the bottom. I can switch them out for a thicker one eventually, but wished that it had them from the beginning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just perfect! Loved the B&H Photo kit I got with my camera but hated the 3/8 strap on the Pearstone bag. The camera was too light to weigh the strap down and keep it stable on shoulder or anywhere. The OP/TECH strap solved the problem. It still attached to the rings on the bag but the wide over-the-head or shoulder part is super comfortable and convenient. Plus, I can use it on other camera bags!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good alternative Been using it for the last 2 months, insted of the already good canon strap that you get with the 40D. At first it took me a bit time to get use to it, but after i got use to it i just couldn't understand how i didn't use it before. very well padded, very strong construction, easily adjustable and very very comfortable. no more sore neck from carrying a Large SLR and a Heavy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from more than what you expect it to be As a wedding photographer, i always carry with me a Nikon D3 w/ 28-70 2.8 lens and a D700 w/ 70-200 2.8 lens. These 2 equipments will be hanging on my shoulders for HOURS! But w/ the Optech Utility Strap, these monster equipments will not only stay put on my shoulders, it also makes it lighter. So far, the best camera straps i've ever had.
