The RODE RM5 Stand Mount is designed for use with the RODE NT5 Studio Small Diaphragm Condenser Microphone, which is 0.79" (20mm) in diameter. The Deity S Mic 2S Short Shotgun Microphone is 0.75" (19mm) in diameter, so although this mount will fit, it may be slightly loose. To create a tighter fit, you can use the Sanken ROCS Rubber O-Rings - 10-Pack (B&H # SAROCS).
