BALL19P Small Ball Head with 1/4"-20 Screw is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, small ball head I got this to mount on an existing Vivitar tripod set that I had, moving from a pan/tilt head to a ballhead. This works well, is nicely made. I love the pan control, not that I use the head to pan the camera, but since this does not have a quick release head like the $$$ others, its nice to loosen the pan control to let you screw in the head to your camera without having to spin the whole tripod. Also nice is that in addition to the advertised 1/4-20 screw, this unit has a bushing for 3/8-16, so when I replace the tripod legs with a more modern set, I can keep this ballhead as a transition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice small and inexpensive ballhead I use this ballhead on a 30+ year old Vivitar tripod. Or the legs from an old tripod. For this, the 1/4-20 was critical. It works great. Additionally, it includes a 3/16-16 adaptor, so it will work with both 1/4-20 and 3/16-16 threads. The pan rotation section is very handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made for small items I got this to hold small electronic devises such as iPhone or iPad used for stop motion animation and video when working with middle school kids. I wish the pan lock had a different style of knob with better leverage for tightening but since this is made for small devices it's okay. An absolute lock would be a great improvement and maybe I should I have purchased the version without rotating pan base because with a tablet mounted to it, the leverage of that bigger devise can out power the screw lock.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid for such a small ball head I'm using this with my micro 4/3 system and it's exactly what I needed, especially for doing panoramas. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the panning control. Although the panning knob locks securely it's impossible to get a smooth pan with partial tension. Examination revealed that the pan lock steel screw directly contacts the rather narrow center shaft and leaves gouges in the shaft. I think a brass pan lock screw would have been a better choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy...Small Ball Head I bought this small head which I used for my small Vivitar tripod. It works perfectly well with the size. But don't expecting too much with this small head. They doesn't work smooth as the big ball head. But it does all the jobs as the big brother does.
