The Pana-Vue 6566 Automatic Slide Viewer is a small, plastic, free-standing viewer for 2x2 slides. The unit holds 36 slides and features automatic slide change via a manually operated "slider" bar. This viewer operates on 2 "D" batteries (not included) or the optional Pana-Vue Transformer (AC adapter).

I had a lot (meaning more than 1,000) slides to review from a family collection not touched for many years. I had a viewer like this decades ago and knew if they still made it, it would be what I needed. It’s not the same brand as my ancient one but basically identical (except this one can work with an AC adapter, my old one just on batteries). It works very well, a bit clunky on occasion but nothing that detracts from its utility. Very pleased.
Slides double up and jam from time to time and the plastic battery compartment is a little tedious, but for the money it s ok
