Purchased three of these for 4x5 tray development. They are very well made and an exceptional value.

These are doe-hard time proven trays! They are red and made like a steel work horse. If you drop it it won't break! It will bounce. If your stuck on a deserted island you could wave this tray in the air so rescue can see you it's so red! Great tray!

Works great for developing film or paper. Super sturdy and thick so I never worry about it cracking unlike some of the other trays I have. Very light, too.

Got this tray for developing 4x5 film negatives and it works great! The large grooves on the bottom of the tray make lifting the negatives out of the developer very easy. Especially since you are in complete darkness.

Efficient, economical and just right.

The trays are small enough to make efficient use of your chemicals and large enough for small printing. The price was right and they are tough. Can't go wrong with these trays.

I'm using these to develop/process 4x5 film. The tray is deep enough to work with 20 oz. of chemical, and still have plenty of room for both of your hands without overflowing. I like having different colors available so that I always use only one type of bath for each color.

Using this for developing 5x7s in the darkroom; it's the right size for the paper, using less developer than my 8x10 tray, and it's fairly easy to get the print out because of the runnels.

Very fine product

Paterson developing trays are the best Ive used, just bought 9x12, 5x7. Solid, firm, plastic trays, easy to clean, will be buying 12x16 next. Very good buy for the money, will last many years to come.
