Hi. Has anyone used this adapter with a heavy load? I’m looking at using it on a slider with around 12kg on top. Thanks.
This really comes down to the head you are using. This allows you to adapt either a 75mm or 100mm Ball Head to a tripod with a flat base. There are some 100mm heads that have a high load capacity, such as the Manfrotto 509HD. This can handle up to 29 pounds or 13kg.

Cartoni FocusHD will fit with Manfrotto 325N Video Adaprer Bowl? to use with flat head tripod and sliders.
There are no reports of that combination. That being said, the Cartoni FocusHD has 100mm ball and this Manfrotto has a 100mm bowl. It is our opinion that this should work.

The two brass threaded parts are for use within the 325N when a tripod ball head offers a different screw size when mounting a tie down.

Would this work with a Benro S8? I'm concerned about the length of the Benro's stem.
Well, I just bought this to use my Sachtler Ace head on a slider - won't work. The head stem is too short and won't mount on this. Sending it back. So, no, you can't assume it will work on every head.

Would this allow me to mount a Sachtler M head on a Libec slider?
Should work. This basically a female-to-female coupler. Realize that you can't level the head and it will ride high on the slider, acting like a mini-riser. Great for mounting a ball-head on pretty much any flat-plate.

Will this work with the Sachtler Ace XL head?
Im not certain it will work compatibly with that unit. Check online posts / blogs, YouTube and with Manfrotto or Sacthler. B&H video sales reps are very knowledgeable too. Or check all screw mount diameters, to see if the compatibility is or isnt possible. Hope Ive answered your question concerning this mount.
