Don't Waste your MoneyI bought this to use on my D750. The lens on the magnifier was much smaller than the D750's view finder(about 30% smaller). It was actually worst with the magnifier on. If you shoot with FF before, you know the view finder on FF cameras are lot more bigger than those on APSC. This eyepiece is nowhere near the quality of the DK-17M, unfortunately it only works on certain models.

Somewhat helpfulWorks best for macro photography and fine detail focusing. It's not as critical if you do landscapes. The eyepiece sticks out further than the stock one so you don't have to smash your nose onto the LCD screen as much. When looking through the viewfinder the corners get a bit blurry also. Bottom line, It's not perfect but I'm not sending mine back either.

Worth it for me.I'm using this with a D750 and I like the extra magnification this eyepiece gives me. I find that it lets me see more details of the subject. This does comes at the expense of my not being able to pay as much attention to the corners. You can see the corners, but to really pay attention to them, you have to move your eye.I am primarily using this with an 85mm lens at wide open apertures and looking to separate the subject from the background. In this application, I am less concerned about the corners than I am about the seeing the subject better. For me, this eyepiece is perfect for this application. If you use glasses to look through the view finder, then forget it, as your eye will be too far away and there will be too much vigetting. For me, I don't like to look through the view finder with glasses. The camera's diopter adjustment provides sufficient adjustment for me for viewing without glasses. An added benefit is that the eyepiece extends about 3/8 further away from the camera body than the standard eyepiece cushion. I find that extra distance more comfortable.

Exactly what I expected.Provides just enough added magnification to manually focus my wide angle lenses in poor light. Fits the D200 perfectly and the lens appears to have a very high quality multi-coating on it. Read some reviews stating that the rubber eyepice of the DK-21M was hard compared to the stock eyepiece, and that it bothered users' eyebrows. Yes, it is a harder rubber but I'm not sure what the complaint is. I notice no difference in actual use. A great addition to the camera and the price is a bargain.

Very Pleased - Helped my old eyesI'm a tri-focal wearer and after adjusting the diopter for the magnification, I get a much better view of the finder now. I put my Hoodman eye cup on and even with glasses it is workable for quick shots. Added benefit is pushing my face back from the camera. I am left eye dominate and this helps get my nose away from the buttons and preview screen.

Useful accessoryThe magnifying eyepiece works well in the sense that it makes manual focusing easier. For a person wearing glasses, however, it does make it difficult to see the entire viewfinder on a D300 or D200. This makes the accessory only useful for tripod work with non moving subjects. It would be great for macro work, not so good for sports.

Perfect for D7000I have this installed on my D7000. The eyepiece now protrudes far enough that I can look over the top of my glasses and get my eye into the viewfinder. The magnification isn't great but it is noticeable. For me, it doesn't block any portion of the viewfinder at all. I have no difficulty seeing the information bar and image together. I highly recommend this product

Best accessory for my D300Sure the D300 has a bright display but this makes it even nicer. Now if I had perfect eyesight I might not be as enthusiastic about it but it will help me do a better job focusing so it's worth the price. Hehe...unusual for a Nikon accessory.
