- For Nikon SLRs with Built-in Flash
- Prevents Flash from Influencing Exposure
The Nikon SG-3IR IR Panel attaches to the camera's flash shoe, and covers and prevents the camera's built-in flash from influencing the exposure, while still permitting its use as a Commander for off-camera Speedlights.

question
Can this be used on an Canon 60D?
It's a cold shoe product -- if it fits over the Canon pop-up flash, and if the IR behavior is similar, it should work. We used it on Nikon DLSRS, but also tested it on an E-M1's mini add-on flash -- worked perfectly -- before buying Metz IR Brackets for the Olympus cameras.

question
How much the maximum range from flash and horzontal and vertical angle does it work?
Any range calculation while using this, would be determined by the sensitivity of your slave strobe's ability to see another flash. I use this with Yongnuo 560 II's, and it works very well. You'll have to be daring and spend a whole $11.95 to answer your own question.

question
Will this Nikon SG-3IR Replacement IR Panel work on a D5300 and third party flash i.e. Bolt?
This device works on Nikon DSLRs with a built-in flash. I have two different Nikon cameras and they work on each one. It simply fits into your hotshoe slot just as an external slides into the on-camera slot. Now whether it will work on non-Nikon cameras, I am not sure, though it would seem that as long as the slots are the same as Nikon's, then it would seem so. But don't hold me to this, though I do know that it works on Nikon cameras.
