It is very handy with the R1C1 Flash

This purchase was to replace the SW-C1 that came with my Nikon R1C1 flash set. Evidently as I was escaping an on coming storm after shooting some macro shots using macro flash kit, I walked off and mine. I now have two of them since it was right where I left it when I was able to return 4 weeks later. That said, I am uniquely qualified to comment on the fact that Nikon did a good enough job on these things that they can withstand a month in the wild with no damage. Having two of them has come in real handy because I can hold a dark back behind a subject and a wind break at the same time.

We are using two of these clips to hold up some lighting for a petrophysical experiment. Due to minimized workspace we needed some type of clip instead of a stand. These clips work for what we need though they are a little weak, even though the lights are only a few ounces. I am happy with my purchase and glab I found this product.
