The Nikon SW-12 is a replacement diffuser panel that is used in conjunction with the SW-C1 Flexible Arm Clip. The Flexible Arm Clip attaches to the SX-1 Attachment Ring and allows the SW-12 to be positioned to create soft lighting effects.

Durable and larger than I expected. Got a second one to go with the one that came with the R1C1 to act as a fill and maintain the same color balance. Can aslo be used as a wind break/shade out in the field. Works great!

What is the reflection and transmission??

Nikon does not list the amount of light the Nikon SW-12 Diffuser Panel blocks. But it does seem to be about 1-1.5 stops of light.

What is the thickness? 1/8", 3/16", 1/4" ?
