There's no adapter ring for 55mm filter thread the comes in the Nikon R1 box. Which one fits with the SX-1?

The Nikon SX-1 Attachment Ring does not have threads. It has a proprietary attachment to a Nikon SY-1 Adapter Ring which is required in order to use the SX-1. The SY-1 adapter is offered in 52, 62, 72 and 77mm thread sizes at this link: https://bhpho.to/4bdKASd

what are the dimensions of the ring itself? how thick is it? how far away does this push the edge o fmy 60mm micro nikor?
The thickness of the SX-1 is 24mm deep plus and about 5mm for the adapter ring. Because the adapter ring has to screw into the lens before applying the attachment ring, we couldn't measure it from the exact edge of the lens.

What is the maximum diameter lens that can use the SX-1? I use a Sigma 180 f2.8 and it is an 86mm thread size.

does anyone know what the outside diameter of this ring is? Specifically, the part that the flash unit attaches to. I have looked everywhere, and they do not have that spec listed.
It is 4.6 and 112mm on direct measurement.Regards
