Verbatim Tech Support LACKS!

First of all let me say that I have been a Verbatim blank disc user for many years and have burnt over a 1000 discs on blank DVD-R; Blu-ray BD-R and the fabulous M discs. But what kind of support do you get if you run into a batch of discs that don't work??? The label on the Verbatim discs states: Limited Lifetime Warranty. I was using blanks from a 100 pack of DVD-R's when I started having problems. Some blanks wouldn't burn at all and came up with ERROR when I tried to do so. Others would appear to burn but when played back would begin to pause & then resume playing until they would freeze. In burning 50 discs I had a 44% failure rate. I contacted the Verbatim Tech Support to see if they could help. After two months of going back & forth with NO help or answers I am writing this review. I explained to them what was going on and told them that my brother who is in the duplicating business had provided me with 10 of his blank Verbatin DVD-R discs for me to burn and make sure that it wasn't my burner. His discs all worked just fine. This was reported to the Tech Center and there were endless back & forth requests. Send us a copy of a receipt for the discs. [I sent a copy of my B&H receipt]. How many discs failed? [24 out of 50] Send us picture of the failed discs. [Picture sent] And that's as far as it has every gotten. It would seem to me that they should have requested me to return the unused blanks along with the discs that failed so that they could look into it. I've tried following up and asking them what's next but they no longer answer back. Am I still using Verbatim blank discs? Yes, as they have been very reliable BUT I am sad that their so called support team LACKS!
