Pelican 1495 Overview

The black 1495CC1 Deluxe Notebook/Laptop Computer Protector Case from Pelican is a hard, watertight, crushproof, and dust proof case made to carry a laptop computer. It has a lid organizer and fitted shock absorbing computer tray for a laptop computer up to a 17" screen. A shock absorbing laptop sleeve and accessory pouch are included. It is carried by a padded fold down handle, and an included removable padded ergonomic shoulder strap.

Hi Pablo! According to Dell, the Alienware M17R2 measures 15.8" x 11.7" x 0.8", which should fit within the Pelican's listed interior specs of 18.9" x 13.1" x 3.8"

Based on the specs I could find, your computer is 1.31" x 16.38" x 11.06 inches to it will fit in the Pelican 1495 which has interior dimensions of 18.9 x 13.1 x 3.8 inches.

Pelican does not specify the dimensions of the laptop sleeve in the 1495CC1 Deluxe Notebook/Laptop Computer Protector Case other than it will support a laptop with a 17 display.

Yes. You can remove the strap. And the mounting hardware can be removed too. No real reason to remove the mounting hardware as it's not in the way
