Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't Buy These Our theatre company has used these connectors many times when the factory installed connector on the MKE-2s went bad. These connectors had a life expectancy far less than the factory connector. Then Switchcraft started making their own with the model number 35HDLBAUS. We've changed all of our microphones over to the Switchcraft connectors and in 18 months have not had a single failure with them. Vastly better than the Sennheiser connectors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pay the extra dollar for these I previously bought the ones that were a buck less and the Sennies are worth every penny more. Don't take my word for it, buy both and see which one is easier to work with. The buck less ones melted very rapidly from the solder gun. The blue plastic inner structure loosened from the heat rendering them worthless at that point. I'm not a professional solderer so blame me applepebble! Sure beats buying a new lav at $ but I did anyway for back-up...2 actually. Thanks BH and Sennheiser.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good replacement ends for Sennheiser wireless systems I recently repaired three damaged ME2's with these, quite easily. The internal connections take solder well, and the insulating parts don't melt quickly under the heat of soldering, like they do in some other connectors. Also. the metal housing is nice and thick. I anticipate these will last a very long time. My only minor complaint is that the small piece of heat shrink tubing that is included is not enough to build an adequate strain relief out of. So, make sure you have additional tubing on hand before you begin your repair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Official plug, it works This is the special connector (correct length and locking) for the Sennheiser wireless products, like the Evolution G2 and G3 series. Just be sure you understand how to properly wire it for your application (electret mic/line level inputs, or line level output). The Sennheiser site has diagrams and app notes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding product information There are many sites that sell 1/8 (3.5mm) connectors that would have fit my use, some locking and some not. The B&H sales department assured me that the locking threads on Sennheeiser body packs would work with this connector. Upon reciept of connectors I was very pleased with the quality of the connectors, and the ease of attaching the small heatset wires to the pre tinned solder pointsThanks

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works every time I used this item to connect a lectrosonics lavaliere to a Sony transmitter. It works great and easy to solder wires to. I plan to rewire my other lavs. to this connector. The amount of money I save in doing this myself is significant. If you are a professional you should always have a couple of these connectors for when your talent does something stupid like try to take of the mic themselves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Replacement for the molded ends Easy to solder, strong piece, locks nicely and has a good price. The only thing I didn't like was that it didnt come with any type of boot for the typical small diameter cable you would solder to it resulting in a little cable in a twice as big opening. The strain relief is like what you would find on a standard switchcraft 1/4 plug. The clamping kind where the metal bends. Overall good plug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I took a Sennheiser MKE-2 gold lavaliere microphone I bought in an auction on a website evidently I cannot name here that starts with e and ends in bay. The mic had a TA5-F connector and soldiered this on. This allowed me to use it with a Sennheiser MZA900P for a wired connection into an XLR audio recorder. It was pretty simple (though the lavaliere wires are super tiny.)
