The Varizoom VZ-Stealth-PZFI is a zoom/focus/iris controller designed specifically for the Panasonic AG-HVX200 and AG-DVX100B camcorders. The throttle is pressure-sensitive for fine-tuned zoom adjustments, while the focus and iris knobs, located on the sides, provide clean and easy operation. Most notably is the ability to operate each function simultaneously. Multiple users can control individual aspects of the rocker, which can be very useful during crane or moving shots.

The CX350 has a LANC input. This is a LANC controller, it should work well with the CX350.

Can this remote be used on the new 4k hc-wxf991 model some how?
Sorry, but there is no wired remote zoom capability with the HC-WXF991K 4K that we can find. The only remote control is through Wi-Fi. Besides rec on/off, playback, and live monitoring, it does amazingly offer remote zooming as well. This is very convenient for consumer recording but is not so much for professional work.

Will this device work with the Sony A7s via adapter? Will all functions work?
To get this device to connect to the A7s you would need 2 adapters. First an adapter to go from Lanc to A/V R and then one to go from A/V R to Multi Terminal. Even after connecting those 2 adapter I cannot confirm that all or any of the functions will work for you. The Sony RM-VPR1 is a cleaner solution that will not require any adapters.

Is this compatible with the Sony FDR-AX53
I'm afraid not. The AX53 has a Multi-Terminal Input, not a LANC Connection. This controller will not work with it. However you could look at the Revo Video & Photo Remote for Select Sony Cameras, B&H # REVRSMULTI.
