The Arri Flicker Analyzer measures and tests for any flicker present in any AC supply of HMI lamps powered by magnetic (non-electronic) ballasts, halogen lamps, and incandescent bulbs. It also checks the scan rate of TV monitors and computer screens.
This small, hand-held analyzer gives results in about 5 seconds. It is used in film, TV and video work, cinema and projection and labs and workshops for lighting. The Flicker Analyzer is powered by a 9 volt battery, available separately.
Automatic gain adjustment enables reading for different light intensities.
Simultaneous measurement of flicker and frequencies is possible.
Mode indication is visible with red LEDs.
Three minute power-down mode extends battery life.
