Each board comes fully assembled with a 4-ply beveled window and a 2-ply backing board, which are hinged together with linen tape on the long side of the boards. The bright white, 100% cotton museum board has a centered window for displaying your print. The exhibition mat can be hung in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

Is there acid in these boards? If there is, how much of a concern is that to the longevity of a photo attached to it? thanks!

The Archival Methods Bright White Pre-Cut Exhibition Mat (11 x 14" Board for 8.5 x 11" Print, 5-Pack) is archival material. The mat is made of 100% cotton fiber that is acid- and lignin-free, and incorporates alkaline or neutral sizing, and the linen tape is a pH-neutral water-activated adhesive.
