I use this for many situations - mostly just use a scissor and then make hand adjustment to get the shape I want. It solves common barndoor lighting problems. You can use it to improve light shapers and use it as a flag. The usefulness is only limited by your imagination. Buy the long 50' cinefoil - you're going to need it.

Cheap Snoot

I needed an additional flash snoot. I used this heavy duty black foil to make a snoot by forming it over an existing snoot then attaching it to my flash with black gaffers tape. It works and saved me money. I think it will be useful for many future projects.

question

Is it heat resistant? Doesn't seem to specify.
Asked by: David M.
Yes. I use it to control the spill on hot lights, 150, 300, 650. It's what it's made for.
