Ideal for masking light leaks and/or eliminating unwanted reflections, it can be quickly shaped to form barndoors, flags, and other configurations. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic stuff This stuff is fantastic, I use it for everything from extending my lens hoods, flags, light block for windows, barn doors, creating a stripbox, black background for quickie shots, and I've even wrapped it around my camera for a rain block. It's been one of the most versatile additions to my gear and at the price it pays for itself over and over. If you've never handled this, think of it as black aluminum foil, so with that you have the benefits of foil one of which is it handles heat from hotlights fine and very malleable, and you have the negatives such as holes and creases when handled too much. Overall though highly recommended if you want to control light which I believe any photographer would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always keep this with me when lighting. This stuff is great, and it's not expensive. Really comes in handy when you're in a tight spot, and need a little extra control when shaping light. And of course, it's just the thing to keep light spills off your walls if needed. It's also light, and very easy to manipulate and shape into whatever you want.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful tool. Rather handy to shape light out of a Speedlight. Reusable, and low bulk. Only complaint is that the black rubs off after some use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, thick and stiff This stuff is really heavy duty, which is great because it keeps its shape when you fold it around a light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Tool for Controlling Light Rosco is known for their quality light control products, be it gels, filters, or in this case, the Cinefoil. It is the perfect addition to any light kit, as it can achieve the control results of snoots or flags for a minimized cost. Crafted with heavy duty aluminum foil that retains whatever shape it is shifted into, this foil will control all spill your lights may leak, while avoiding any reflections in the process. Bottom Line: A must have for any controlled lighting setups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More uses than can be imagined! This is a must-have item in a shooters toolbox! It can be formed to fit any application and is immune to heat. From shading a viewfinder or a lens in odd-lighting to making a gobo on-the-fly, this stuff works. I always keep a few feet folded up in my camera case for emergencies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really great stuff This foil is an absolute must on any set. It has so many different uses than your standard barn doors. Keeps the light and shadows where every professional photographer wants them. Totally under control. Can get very hot so caution must be used working with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential for any film or video project The possibilities with this are nearly endless. Great for stopping extra light spill, both on lights and around the matte box. I even used it to make a custom sunshade for a monitor that has lasted through multiple days.
