The US-144 from Tascam is a USB-based audio interface designed for use with Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software. It provides a four-input, four-output 24-bit/96kHz audio interface and a sixteen-channel MIDI interface.
The US-144 is the ideal companion to any desktop- or laptop-based digital recording setup. Since the unit operates using only USB power, the combination can create a very compact and portable digital audio workstation system when paired with a laptop computer.
Note:
US-144 will interface with USB 1.0 but input/output functionality is halved.
