It is useful for nature and outdoor photographers, as well as sports shooters and photojournalists. It provides a thermal barrier, protecting your hands from cold lens surfaces in low temperatures.

The cover is waterproof, providing protection to your lens wet weather. This classic forest green camouflage pattern is useful for when you are shooting in wooded areas.

Includes a clear, flexible UV-PVC window over the AF/IS/VR controls and the distance-scale window.
Features a custom hole that reveals the red-dot, making for easy alignment to the camera body without having to remove the cover.

Perfect for knocking down the white on the L series for wildlife photography! Also offers a little protection from small bumps and scratches! Lost a star as it is a little pricey...

I wanted a cover for my 70-200 2.8 IS lens to make it less conspicuous, protect it from dings and scratches and make more comfortable to hold in hot and cold weather. The LensCoat preforms perfectly for these needs. Pricey but well worth it.
