The Tascam LD-74 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone designed by MXL. The LD-74 features a true condenser element, reproducing vocals and instruments with great detail and minimal noise. The cardioid polar pattern minimizes noise, feedback and residual audio signal at the off-axis sections of the capsule. The microphone uses +48V phantom power from a mixer or preamplifier and includes an XLR cable and table-top stand. The LD-74 brings "big studio" results into any home or project recording studio, at a fraction of the cost.
