Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Pearl 320 Paper for Inkjet has a smooth surface structure with a unique pearl-coating, consisting of 100 % cotton rag content, making it extremely age resistant. It also conforms to the highest conservation requirements. This natural white paper is free of OBA's and has the appearance of a natural white barytpaper.

The paper features the ability to represent a high Dmax and can reproduce a large color gamut, enabling the reproduction of fine color and black & white nuances resulting in prints that appear three-dimensional.

The feel of this real cotton paper offers a 4th dimension of sensuality and emotion, making it especially suitable for black and white and color photographs with warm grey and color tones. It is also very well suited to fine art reproductions.

Photo Rag Pearl 320 Paper (320gsm) - 44" Wide Roll - 39' Long is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new standard paper! This is a really nice paper. I switched to digital printing early on, but to keep some consistency I wanted a paper that looked a lot like luster c-print paper. For that reason I had been using the Epson Premium Luster paper. It was a good paper and I never had problems with it, but, especially for things like portfolio reviews and showing unframed prints to editors, curators, etc., the paper just doesn't feel that great. I looked around a bit and made quite a few test prints before switching to this paper. IT has a surface that's not all that different from a luster c-print paper, but maybe with a tiny bit more texture. The texture is minor though, and it doesn't overpower even subtle images. The real improvement over c-print paper or Epson Premium Luster is that the paper feels really nice when you handle it due to the photo rag base. The back of the print looks like a piece of paper, not a piece of plastic. The paper handles well and while I use my own profiles, the profiles provided by Hahnemuhle are pretty good. The paper has a warmer tone than the Epson Luster. I'm glad I switched and recommend this paper to anyone who wants a luster surface with a nice, heavy, paper base.
