Entrada Rag Natural 300 Paper (8.5 x 11", 25 Sheets) is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Top-notch Paper, But Tedious to Print On This paper is among the best that we've found available from mainstream brands offering natural rag construction and aesthetic. The problem is that this stuff is thick and even when using the manual feed (on a Canon Pro 100 inkjet), unwanted blotching transfers from the plates and the print head to the paper, even on a freshly-cleaned machine. We will continue to buy this product for our business, but be warned that it can take a little finagling at times. The thickness is one of its best attributes, but that also means that this paper can be difficult to feed automatically (as it is difficult to bend), so it sometimes requires a little assistance. The box that it comes in is GREAT, and helps to prevent the paper from curling once the packaging is opened. Color reproduction is impeccable. Touch and feel are unbeatable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very dissapointed in Entrada Natural I used MOAB's Entrada Natural after reading good reviews. I have been testing numorous rag and fiber papers and recently purchased this product to include in my rag paper tests. If you are new to printing, rag means 100% cotton and fiber means some combination of cotton, wood pulp, etc. The benifit to rag is that it does not yellow over time. OBA means optical brightener agents. They flouresce the paper making it apear to be whiter. However, OBAs turn yellow over time. Using the paper on a HP Pro B8850 printer with a MOAB Entrada ICC profile the results were poor. The colors were simply too warm (orange / yellow)and I found correcting them using Lightroom 2.2 impossible. I also did not like the hand(feel)of the paper compared to many other papers. The image had little life or presence. In a discusion about this with another photographer, explaining my surprise after reading good reviews, he offered an opinion that I thought had merit. The quality reputation of this paper is old. When it came out, good digital medium was limited and it was one of the better papers at that time. There are so many more papers out today, it no longer ranks among the best. I believe that my friend may be right. My personal tests based on color rendition, depth of the image, durability, ease of use and the hand(feel)of the paper show Hahnemuhle Photo Rag (no OBAs)$$$ and Epson Fine Art Velvet(small amount of OBAs)$$ much better cotton rag papers than MOAB Entrada Natural. Very close condenders to the above, Crane Museo Silver Rag and Bergger PN32. Given the current state of paper development, Janaury 2009, I believe that you cannot go wrong with any of these papers. I hope that you find this information of interest and value. Happy printing . . .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inconsistant When this paper works, it works great, but the last 3 packs I've bought have been useless. This particular pack had manufacturing errors. It was a bit lumpy and, even though it's two sided, one side printed washed out looking. I've also had a lot of paper curl problems with this paper. Epson Hot Press has been much more consistent in quality for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won't work in my printer I think this paper is probably quite good but gave it two stars because after purchasing I found out it will not work in my printer. Sad. I bought it for a painter client whose work I photograph then print and she asked for a rag paper. I had no idea it wouldn't work in my printer, I have an Epson Stylus Photo R1900. And of course I can't return it because I opened it. Just writing this review in case it might help someone else avoid a useless purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Paper. Very warm base, not unlike theHahnemuhle Photo Rag - but even a slight bit warmer. Weight is good for showing portfolio prints in a box... we found theHahnemuhle Photo Rag Duo to be slightly too thin. We print on a Epson SC P5000 (HDX ink set), and were pleasantly surprised at how accurate the paper profile was. We preemptively set the platen gap to wide, and had no issues with smears. Good luck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite paper! I recently switched from epson papers for printing because I am taking a digital printing class at school. I love matte paper and I am even more in love with this paper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good results with Epson printer Like the previous reviewer, I have tested a number of rag and fiber papers. Unlike the previous reviewer, I found Entrada Natural to be a reliable and consistent paper that gave very good to excellent results with Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks. The only complaint I have had with this paper was due to Moab's instructions on media settings with the Epson printer I use. Their website showed two different media type recommendations while their downloaded ICC profiles showed a third media setting. After getting poor results from the first prints, I used the media setting for Epson HPN paper (as shown on the ICC profile) and the results improved significantly. The finish is smooth with a small amount of texture, the base color is a natural white that is not brightened with OBAs. I like the look of this paper and I also like the feel of it in the hand. It's nice and thick but it feeds perfectly through the single sheet front load tray of my printer. I have preferred glossy and matte-dried glossy papers in the past due to their ability to produce vivid colors, snappy contrast and deep blacks. I decided to test several matte-surface papers just to see what the results might be. Instead of buying samplers from various manufacturers, I bought 8.5x11 boxes of several highly recommended smooth surface papers by different manufacturers and I printed the same images on each of the papers. The results were surprising. I discovered all of these papers were capable of producing superb and satisfying photographs. A bit of experimentation was required to adjust the color, contrast and black point in the images prior to printing. Once this was done, every paper performed well. It would be difficult to choose a favorite paper. The main result from this experimentation was that I now prefer the look of photographs made on cotton rag paper over the look of photographs done on the glossier surfaces. Moab Entrada Natural ranks within the top papers I've tried thus far. I will use it frequently in the future.
