Damaged paper, not returnable per customer service

I've been a customer of B&H for over 10 years. I always appreciated their quick response with my orders and turnaround for shipping. I have ordered my Moab paper and ink cartridges exclusively from them for the last 5 or so years. What has lost me as a customer was my recent order and treatment, where I received a box of 50 sheets (over $300) with not one corner, but 2, damaged. Substantially! The catch was, the 2 sheets on the top of the group were undamaged, so I started using the paper for a project with a tight deadline. When I picked up the 3rd sheet I noticed the damage and it was scary because of my deadline, plus I needed the whole sheet for printing. When I inspected the rest of the sheets, I saw that every single one was damaged. Hello quality control! I contacted customer service, and in between delayed emails, I continued to make prints, cutting off the damaged edge and justifying that I could use the rest of the sheet for my smaller prints. I asked customer service to replace 25 sheets and they said no. No, they couldn't replace them because I had already used some of the 50 sheets and a partial replacement is not allowed. WHAT? I was tricked by the 2 top sheets that were not damaged and I would never expect B&H to send out a box where the majority of the paper is damaged. Customer service went back & forth, first offering me a $50 credit and then upping it to $65. I said okay, send me the equivalent of the credit with replacement paper so I can meet my deadline and they said they couldn't do that. So not only am I stuck with a box of damaged paper that I can't use for my larger pieces, I will only get a credit if I... order from them again! Completely unacceptable. Stressful and not helpful. Super poor business practice. I'm no longer a customer and will definitely caution all my artist friends about my experience.

Will this paper work well with with an hp printer?
Asked by: Willis
Moab Entrada Rag Natural 300 Paper is too thick (22.5 mil) and too heavy (300 grams per square meter) to safely print on most HP printers. The only HP printers that were able to handle such papers were the HP Photosmart pro b8850 and the HP Photosmart pro b9180 printers and HP printers 24"and larger that take a 3"core.
