I really wanted this things to work. I bought three.� What a waste of money. I have really large and �Chimera soft boxes and�extra large strip boxes and these adapters can not handle the weight of them. They are really hard to tighten down and they still slip. I would not recommend these for anything bigger than a medium soft box.
As well built and versatile as this item is, I was disappointed in the fact that it didn't come with a spigot to allow immediate use with a strobe. Otherwise, a great piece of equipment.
