Innovative and sturdy

The leg mechanism that unfolds is quite inventive and surprisingly sturdy. The lower, main support is continuously adjustable in terms of height, and capable of holding a full size 88 note keyboard easily. The upper support arms are fully adjustable in terms of height, but not angle, which is my main disappointment. The angle is too steep for my intentions of holding another full size keyboard. It just felt too wobbly, given the angle of the upper tier, and I wouldn't trust it from tipping over. If you intend to put a smaller, lighter keyboard on the upper support, for an occasional phrase of music, it will work perfectly. I re-purposed the upper tier to hold a fairly large mixing board, and for that it works beautifully.

question

Hi,If I wanna raise or lower the keyboard, can I do it while the keyboard is on the stand or do I have to take off the key board?

Based on it's design and my experience using it, when a keyboard is on the arms the weight helps to lock in the adjustment piece which is great because I've never had either one of my two keyboards move at all. The best and safest way to adjust the height is to take the keyboard off of the arms and then do the adjustment.
