High Quality 3x Optical Zoom-Nikkor Lens
The Zoom Nikkor glass lens of the Coolpix L15 produces incredibly sharp, clear images; while the Macro capability of the lens lets you focus as close as 5.9 inches. In addition, there is a 4x Digital zoom providing a combined zoom capability of 12x.
VR (Vibration Reduction) Image Stabilization
The lens of the Coolpix L15 incorporates Nikon's optical lens shift VR (Vibration Reduction) system, which compensates for camera movements to produce sharper, steadier images. And because the VR system remains active whenever the camera is on, images also appear more stable on the LCD monitor, making it much easier to judge the right moment to take the shot.
Easy Auto Mode

15 Scene Modes

Using the dedicated shooting mode button to quickly call up the portrait Mode - it provides direct access to Face-priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, and Nikon's D-Lighting, to provide the simplest path to astounding portraits and posed group shots.
Movie and Voice Recording
Shoot TV-quality (640x480 @ 30 fps) QuickTime movies with sound with the clip length limited only by the available space on the internal memory or your memory card. The Voice Memo Function Records up to 20 seconds of sound that can then be attached to an image.
