Earthworks PM40 PianoMic Piano Condenser Microphone System

The Earthworks PM40 PianoMic Piano Condenser Microphone System has a single stereo 5-pin XLR connector which connects to the input on the included electronics box and feeds to a pair of standard 3-pin XLR output connectors. The electronics box functions as a Y-cable that splits the audio to enable connection to two separate XLR inputs on a variety of devices such as a mixer, amplifier, recorder, camera, or USB audio interface. In order to power the mics, each of the inputs will need to supply 48V of phantom power or you can use standalone phantom power supplies instead. To connect the PM40 PianoMic to a computer, you can use a two-channel USB audio interface such as the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2x2 USB Audio Interface (B&H # FOSCARL2I23G) or the MOTU M2 Desktop 2x2 USB Type-C Audio-MIDI Interface (B&H # MAM2). The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 can be used with an iPad Pro running iPadOS, and the MOTU M2 can be used with an iPad running iOS 9 or later.
