The VL-A8 from Tascam brings professional-quality monitoring to a price level aimed at the home or project studio. This active, two-way monitor features an 8" woofer and a 1" dome tweeter housed in a bass-reflex cabinet for a wide frequency response. Internal amplifiers provide 140W of total power.
The VL-A8 uses an XLR/TRS combo input jack so you can connect to virtually any sound system. High and low frequency controls allow you to tailor the monitor's response to your specific working area, and a low cut filter is provided for use with the optional LF-S8 subwoofer. The monitor is magnetically shielded for safe use near video monitors.
