    Logitech 981-000014 reviews

USB Headset H390 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 84.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sound is good, but not really comfortabl I use these for online conferencing every day and want to use them for some podcasts, but haven't gotten to that yet. Sound quality is good, people on the other end say it's good too. The inline volume control and mute are nice and work great with Windows 7. They just aren't very comfortable. I would say it's because I have a large head (7 5/8 hat), but I think it's really an issue of the design and the earpieces laying on your ears. I bent the top outwards so they wouldn't press so hard on my ears. That made them a little better, but they still hurt after a while. So, make sure you try them on your head for a while before you buy them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from USB Headset H390 by Logitech I use this product with Dragons professional software. After returning to school three years ago, at the age of sixty, two fingered typing was just not going to get it. This headset was bought as a replacement for the cheap one that comes with Dragon software. After three months of use, when I pushed the microphone up it would constantly drop back down. I would have to say this headset is a major improvement. On the downside, I wear it for long periods of time and would prefer over the ear headphones. On the upside, they are durable. Furthermore, considering the price, the noise reduction, mute button, and a volume control are big pluses. Additionally, it was nice to purchase a product with a cord longer than 2 1/2 feet. I would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Headset I was looking for a VOIP headset that I can use for ventrilo, skype, and AIM. This headset met most of my requirements and I am glad that I purchased it. People over the programs hear me perfectly fine and the sound coming through the headset is as accepted. I find the comfort level of the headset to be good; I can wear it for extend period of time 3-5 hours. The only issue that I have with this headset is that occasionally for some reason sound would stop coming out through the headset. I would have to unplug and re-plug it in. I don't know if this is because it may be a defective product but besides that I really do like this headset compare to all the other ones I have owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! Both the earphones and microphone give clear sound. Unlike some both use just one USB port which is wonderful!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked for 6 months, then stopped working. I actually liked this headset when it was working. It was relatively comfortable, and sound quality was decent. I've used my H390 with Windows 7, Windows 10, and Ubuntu 14.04. When it was working, headset was recognized by all 3 Oses as Logitech USB Headset. Then all of a sudden, headset stopped working one day (no sound out of headphone, and mic doesn't work). When I checked hardware configuration, I noticed all 3 OSes recognized the H390 as Lync Audio Device. Since Logitech doesn't supply drivers for this headset, I'm stuck with the wrong native OS drivers, and headset doesn't work. If you googed the internet, you'll see other people reporting this exact same problem with this headset on different operating systems, including Mac OSX. This is clearly a hardware issue. Unless you don't mind having to buy another headset in less than 1 year, stay away from this piece of junk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Listen up! As a broadcasting teacher we've gone through many phases with our class sets of headphones, depending on budget, amount of use, applications, etc. Most recently we've gone digital in our video and audio editing and creation. These ClearChat USB's are more durable than the models with more swivel action in the ear piece. Less swivel means less breakage. it's an efficient use of grant and taxpayer dollars! The pads and mic can be wiped with disinfectant - important with multiple users from one class to another. And the audio quality is suitable for discerning ranges from voice to sound effects to instruments. The high schoolers in my class have no complaints using them, and they can be a tough crowd.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable ? These earphones pads fit on top of the ear. To me comfort means the pads fit around the ear and do not rest or squeeze the ears like these do. I can't see that these would be comfortable after an hour or so of use. On the PC they always work when plugged in, however on the MAC (Intel) System Preferences have to be set each time. That is if your line out is to a sound board or external speakers on the MAC, you will have to enter the change and possibly close the application you want to use it for before the change takes place. It's nice that the mute switch flashes when muted. I would have preferred to be able to switch the microphone to the right side of the face, but this is not possible with this product.
