The EDIUS Neo XL Video Editing Bundle for Windows from Grass Valley is a bundle that includes the EDIUS Neo software and ACEDVio hardware capture card.

Neo is a powerful non-linear editing suite, designed for academic use. The software supports SD and HD video formats, and features an entry-level toolset. It is compatible with AVCHD, HDV, DV, Windows Media, and QuickTime formats. It supports realtime, multitrack, and mixed HD/SD format editing. The software can also be used for chroma keying, titling, and DVD authoring.

The ACEDVio PCI card is the only card an editor will need. It features analog and DV input/output with native open standard OHCI support for all popular video cameras and decks including: VHS, S-VHS, Hi-8, Digital8, DV and DVCAM. It supports both PAL and NTSC video standards.

Mixed Format Editing
EDIUS Neo supports mixed format editing on a single timeline. Thanks to realtime transcoding technology, you'll be able to work with video of mixed formats, resolutions, aspect ratios, and frame rates without the need for time-consuming rendering.
Superlative Quality and Performance
The software uses the Canopus HQ Codec for video compression. It provides superior Luma and Chroma sampling when using HD video, and allows for increased video bitrates when working on high-performance systems.
Complete Software Solution
EDIUS Neo doesn't require any special video capture hardware. You'll be able to acquire video from digital sources using any computer that features a FireWire port. There's no need for a dedicated capture card or breakout box.
