question

I have an NEC hybrid phone system. Half the extensions are analog and the other half are VOIP and are housed in a separate location. I have the capability to page where the analog extensions are because the system brain is feeding the PA but at my remote location I need to be able to use the PA function as well. Will this act as an extension that will allow me to call it and speak over the PA??
Asked by: Sam R.
It will NOT act as a digital extension. You need to use an Digital to Analog Adapter to act as the digital interface and then the analog output would be routed to this device. Call the extension you have assigned to the Adapter and it will feed this and work like a champ. I have 2 set up that way in different locations.
