PortaBrace TSA-SET Overview

The Porta Brace TSA-SET includes two TSA-approved Safe Skies combination locks and a CS-B9 padded Stuff Sack. TSA locks can be opened for quick safety inspection by TSA (Transportation Security Administration) trained employees, using a master key. Non-approved locks must be cut off. Safe Skies will also replace their TSA locks, free of charge, in the unlikely event they are clipped or damaged by the TSA during travel.

The CS-B9 padded Stuff Sack is 6.0 x 9.0" with a zippered opening. It is extremely useful for small tools, batteries, lens adapters, tape stock and many other items that tend to be misplaced.

Portabrace bags are sturdy!

I originally thought these bags would be a bit flimsy but no, I can put two clams in them and they hold up very well in a case full of light stands and accessories. The locks are good quality and easily fit on all my ThinkTank and Pelican cases.

I bought them to go with the Porta Brace PB-2750F Hard Case with Foam Interior that I also purchased from B&H at the same time. For the price, they're the quality one would expect. They certainly keep out prying fingers while out of your sight...and that's all you need them for...and all they're designed for. A serious thief would never be stopped by this, or any other lock. The padded Stuff Sack included is a nice touch, but totally unnecessary. But, having said that, I'll probably end up using it for something. I'm very happy with this product.

Does the recessed nature of the u lock mechanism work with pelican case style latch / latch protectors?

It worked great, as long as its turned the correct way. It will not swing freely in the latch.
