Might image quality improve by replacing the supplied zoom eyepiece with a standard eyepiece?
Yes, the image can be improved, depending on the quality of your aftermarket eyepiece. A 1.25" eyepiece adapter with retaining screw is included with the C70 Mini Mak, which screws onto the eyepiece cover threads* (*NOT T-mount compatible). All you have to do is unscrew the zoom eyepiece from the scope, install the provided 1.25" adapter and drop in your replacement eyepiece.
